Terms of Use
Last updated: June 8, 2026
These Terms of Use define the basic rules for using LudForge. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using LudForge, you agree to follow these Terms of Use.
- If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the service.
Service provided as is
LudForge is provided on an as-is and as-available basis.
- We do not provide warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, perfectly accurate, or suitable for every commercial purpose.
Calculations and simulations
The calculations and simulations provided by LudForge are support tools for game design decisions.
- Outputs are intended to help designers reason about loot, energy, crafting, pacing, probabilities, and related systems.
- We do not guarantee absolute precision, commercial suitability, player behavior, revenue results, balance quality, or outcomes in published games.
User responsibility
You are responsible for the data and decisions you bring into LudForge.
- You are responsible for reviewing your project data, calculations, exports, design choices, and final production decisions.
- You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload or enter any content you add to the service.
Changes to the service
LudForge is an evolving product.
- We may add, change, limit, rename, or remove functionality as the product develops.
Abusive use and termination
The service must not be used in ways that harm LudForge, other users, or third-party services.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with infrastructure, violate the law, or breach these terms.
Availability
We try to keep LudForge available, but interruptions can happen.
- The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, infrastructure issues, third-party outages, or events outside our control.
Subscriptions
Paid plans are processed through Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
- Canceling a subscription prevents future charges after the cancellation takes effect according to Stripe and plan settings.
- Cancellation does not create an automatic refund. Refund requests are reviewed case by case unless a different rule is required by law.
Intellectual property
Project ownership and software ownership are separate.
- The data you create in LudForge projects belongs to you.
- The LudForge software, interface, brand, code, and product design belong to Undev Games or its licensors.
Limitation of liability
Use LudForge as a design aid, not as a guarantee of production results.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Undev Games is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, lost-profit, lost-data, or business-interruption damages arising from use of LudForge.
